- To have identified all the major insect categories that should be considered for postharvest control to comply with export regulations from DAFF and also import regulations from phytosanitary markets.
- To know the effect the Controlled Atmosphere Temperature Treatment system (CATTS) treatments followed by simulated cold-storage shipping on the mortality of phytosanitary pests and fynbos cutflower projects’ quality.
- CATTS is a chemical-free new technology that combines heat and atmospheric stress, to control phytosanitary pests.
